If this review was somehow helpful to you as a reader, it wouldn't hurt if you hit like so I will get more inspired to post more detailed reviews of places I've been. Go and try them out just to feel the ambience of a vintage decor, Ilocano dishes and a nice and quiet place. For value of money, it's a little bit pricy, service is excellent, swift and quick, food comes out fresh from the kitchen and staff are always smiling. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe/restaurant.

My only criticism is the pizza's crust, very thin, not enough cheese and toppings and cheese used is low quality. Pancit Canton tastes beyond excellent, steaming hot and freshly cooked so as the pizza. This Filipino fried tofu and pork dish is super popular in the local small street-side kiosks and restaurants in the Philippines. We came back for lunch and ordered pancit Canton and meat lovers pizza. Vegan Tokwa’t Baboy (Filipino Fried Tofu & Pork) If you’re looking for vegan-friendly appetizers, this vegan tokwa’t baboy is just the ticket. Bagnet was served with slices of red onion and tomatoes with anchovy sauce (bagoong). Pakbet is a little salty in my opinion and the eggplant a little raw. On the side, we ordered pakbet Ilocano style and Bagnet. As a starter, they give you a pandesal and butter ( it would have been more enjoyable if it was hot) but no complains. Longaniza is Ilocos style, lots of garlic and the corned beef is american style. Their egg is a sunny side up style and it's just cooked perfectly, the yolk oozing as you cut it. These are included in their promo if you booked a night's (or more) stay. For breakfast, we ordered a longaniza with rice and egg (2), corned beef with potatoes and egg (2). They offer a variety of menus and made to order.

It is a cozy, classy with a beautiful decor and set up. This Cafe is inside Palacio de Laoag Hotel. But I'm hoping thag they will improve their services, especially since they tie up with travel agencies. But using the pandemic as an excuse is kinda getting old. I don't know if it still has to do with the pandemic. But unfortunately, that does not exist in this restaurant. Or they will say in advance that a specific item is out of stock. It is a term often associated with getting together with friends or loved ones over drinks and tasty snacks. 'Pica-pica' is a colloquial term that loosely means finger foods or little snacks. I mean, all the restaurants I've been to will inform customers if an item is not available and would even ask the customer what they would like in exchange. 1214 Main Street, Saint Johnsbury, Vermont 05819, United States. It would have been nice to be informed of the sudden change of menu.

When we called a waitress over, she said that the two items were not available so they changed it instead to calamares and mussel, without informing us. When they did brought out the dish (Seafood Special A) it was missing two items, the oysters and the kilawin. When they found out that they gave us the wrong food (Seafood Platter instead of Seafood Special A), thy asked us to wait another 20-30 minutes so they can serve us the right dish. The service was just so bad.įirst they gave us the wrong food after we waited 30 minutes for our order. I had a really bad experience at this restaurant.
